Our Team
Jacob Dayan, Esq.
Co-Founder & Principal
Jacob Dayan is involved in deal sourcing as well as analysis, underwriting, and investment decision making. Jacob has nearly two decades of experience in business operations, finance, and investment experience. He has owned and operated numerous consumer service businesses, commercial and legal services businesses. He also has significant experience making direct loans, and owning and managing various real estate investments.
Prior to founding Dayan Capital, Jacob founded Community Tax LLC, where he served as CEO prior to exiting the business to a SPAC in 2021. Jacob negotiated and oversaw all aspects of the transaction. Jacob is also a partner at Consumer Law Group, a national leading immigration law firm.
Jacob is an Illinois licensed attorney, and holds a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and a B.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Adam Dayan, Esq.
Co-Founder & Principal
Adam Dayan plays a central role across all aspects of the firm's operations — from initial sourcing and due diligence through closing and ongoing asset management. He leads all analysis, underwriting, and investment decision making, and is deeply involved in the day-to-day execution that drives performance across the portfolio. Adam brings over twenty-five years of experience in business operations, lending, and investment management. He has owned and operated numerous consumer service and commercial enterprises, and has significant experience structuring direct loans and managing a diverse range of real estate investments.
Prior to founding Dayan Capital, Adam founded Consumer Law Group, where he serves as the CEO, and Community Tax LLC, which was sold to a SPAC in 2021.
Adam is an Illinois licensed attorney, and holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
